As part of Student Welfare practices at Pagewood Public School, there are award systems to encourage and recognise positive aspects of student achievement, effort and behaviour. Recognition may be given to students for a wide range of activities both in and out of the classroom.
- Merit Award System
Each week, each teacher chooses two class members to receive a Merit Award Certificate, which is presented at our weekly school assembly.
- Honour Awards
To acknowledge behaviour of a consistently high standard, teachers have ten certificates per week to distribute. Accumulating these cards leads to further awards. 10 = Rainbow Certificate. 20 = Silver Certificate. 30 = Gold Certificate. 40 = Platinum Certificate. 50 = Diamond Certificate.
