We are very proud of our school's outstanding tradition of sporting success and we pride ourselves on the interest, participation and performance of our students. A comprehensive range of sports is offered with children competing at school, district, regional and state carnivals.
Students have access to many sporting experiences:
- A two week Intensive Swimming Scheme is held once per year, usually late in Term 4. Students from Years 2 and 3 may choose to participate.
- Students aged 8 and over compete in Athletics, Cross Country and Swimming Carnivals at school, district, regional and state levels.
- Students in Years 3-6 are involved in competitive sport on Fridays. In Terms 1 and 4 there is AFL and softball. In Terms 2 and 3 there is soccer and netball.
- Students in Years 3-6 are also offered opportunities to participate ina variety of Gala Days. These vary each year but may involve sports such as rugby league, cricket, league tag and basketball.
In addition to competitive sports, all classes take part in a comprehensive physical education program.
